Susan Leverentz

President

For more than 20 years, Susan has worked with all levels of talent acquisition specialists to develop data-driven recruitment marketing strategies, global employment branding, strategic digital solutions, and programmatic media strategies across multiple digital platforms. Her media buying expertise covers strategy, planning, negotiations, execution, and relationship management.

Having personally experienced the difficulties human resources executives face in connecting top talent to their employer brand, Susan founded Ad Strategies in 2012 to help talent acquisition leaders uncover what makes their company unique, then leverage that authenticity to engage right-fit candidates in meaningful ways.

Susan is a member of SHRM, VSHRA and AHHRA, served on the board for APRA and holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jeff Klein

Media Manager

Jeff has over 20 years of recruiting experience including agency, retained search, and corporate environments. His experience in recruiting includes manufacturing, pharmaceutical, heath care, business services, and IT industries. 

Having recruited in such diverse environments, he knows the challenges that Recruiting Departments face and how to navigate the Recruitment Marketing Media to achieve success. 

His previous experience includes US Navy aboard the submarine USS Topeka, and a leadership role at United Snack Group in their Franchising Unit.

Steve Leverentz

Director of Business Strategy & Analytics

Steve enables talent acquisition leaders to achieve measurable results that demonstrate the impact their TA strategy has on business growth and success.

Having developed data analytics regimes with some of the largest companies in the world, Steve is adept at helping Ad Strategies clients define their TA goals and objectives, leverage prescriptive analytics to maximize their recruitment advertising budget, and quantify their recruitment marketing ROI.


In his role as Director of Business Strategy and Analytics, Steve collaborates with our recruitment marketing specialists, our clients’ media teams, and trusted external agencies to build solutions that not only support their TA strategy, but also provide an analytical way to evaluate and steer it toward improvement.

Yolanda Mendez, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Director of Client & Employee Success

Yolanda is a seasoned human resources professional with a career spanning over 20 years of experience.  Yolanda has worked in several industries including finance, travel, professional sports, call-center, automobile, and advertising. She served as a Board Member for WISE AZ since the inception of the chapter in Phoenix and is currently the Secretary.  Yolanda has a bachelor’s in advertising from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Wayland Baptist University. Yolanda is currently overseeing all client relationships and human resources functions.  

Kristen Lunceford

Senior Account & Communications Manager

Kristen is a digital and print communications specialist with nearly two decades of experience in marketing, publishing, brand development, copywriting, and corporate and non-profit project management. Her distinctive background blends writing/journalism with communications, editing, and media relations.

Madison Pollock
Digital Marketing Specialist

Madison is a Digital Marketing Specialist with exceptional experience in social media marketing and advertising. Prior to joining Ad Strategies, Madison worked as a social media manager and collaborations specialist for a Phoenix-based interior design company where she facilitated residential interior projects for celebrities and television shows. While attending the University of San Diego as a student-athlete, Madison played an integral role in the marketing efforts of her women’s basketball program, the West Coast Conference, and the NCAA. She graduated in 2020 with a BA in Communication Studies. 

Sara Hammond

Creative Director

Sara worked for eight years at Kraus-Anderson Communications Group where she wore many hats, including art director, graphic designer and event planner. She creates clean, attractive designs that capture clients’ unique brands. She holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising.
